Like action, science fiction, and horror movies, for example. There is such an art to writing these genres that creates something truly unique. Some romance movies based on books are The Adjustment Bureau based on the book Selected Stories of Philip K. Dick, Home in Indiana based on the book The Phantom Philly by George Agnew Chamberlain, and The Town based on the book Prince of Thieves by Chuck Hogan. It is fun to see these genres at their best.
