Writing Ideas- Activities For Your Book

Small things do make a difference.  Don't forget to make small impressions in your book.  Sometimes, these small impressions help to bring us into the book, while the large impressions carry out the story.  If you want your reader to be partial to your material, then don't forget them.

An example would be Tom drinking a cup of coffee.  You may describe the cup of coffee, but most of the time there is no need to, it just adds an extra sense to the story.  I for one never cease to be adulated by the precious "cup of coffee".  It never gets old!  I already have a picture, taste and smell in my mind and I think everyone else does too.

Making a list of these small adorations can help.
